We had over 60 riders join us for our first inaugural Medics for Mental Health bike ride in September 2016. Weather forecast was scary, with threats of thunder & lightening. But the weather gods were on our side, It brushed over us before the day began, and we had no noise or light from the sky. However, it did decide to downpour on us for about 10 minutes right as we began the ride. The sun would decide to peak out now and then. But there was the unfortunate wind of 60km/hr gusts on our final 15km that made it a struggle even for the most experienced.
OVERALL, WE ENJOYED A GOOD RIDE AND HAD LOTS OF FUN.
The stretch from Ingersoll to Tillsonburg has some hills to tackle. Nothing we couldn't overcome.
